What I want in Thor 2:

18-seconds-before-sunrise:

I want Loki to smile. To genuinely smile.

Not a “I’m having a great time making you suffer” smile or a “You’re pathetic and I’m all powerful” smile, or even a “Making fun of you, playing a joke on you” smile. I want his entire face to be overtaken by true happiness. It doesn’t have to be a huge teeth-baring sunshine fest, I just want a facial expression that says he’s actually happy.

But I know this won’t happen because his entire family all treat him like dirt, and that fact emotionally breaks me.

Go ahead and say he doesn’t deserve to be happy because of everything he’s done, but just know that I completely disagree.
